" 'Holy Fingers' is an homage to one of Blossom Hall's biggest influences: The Pixies. This unforgettable performance was recorded live on Halloween of 2018, with Nancy Paraskevopoulos on bass/vocals, Phil Cotter on guitar/vocals and Zach Larabee on drums. Singing phrases like “gouge away”, “I bleed” and “killed by ten million pounds of sludge” was an apt way to spend Halloween night.

Blossom Hall performs loving arrangements of songs from the Pixies early career, including the lesser known tune “Levitate Me”. Cotter and Paraskevopoulos strategically flip the gender of the lead vocals - Cotter sings Kim Deal’s part on “Gigantic”, while Paraskevopoulos delivers “Here Comes Your Man” with floating ease. They also include “Dig for Fire”, a later Pixies tune that has become a staple of Blossom Hall’s live set since this legendary Halloween show."
